“Amazing Gothic Cathedral”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Well worth the walk up the hill, this 100 year old Gothic cathedral is as beautiful as any I have seen in Europe! It is well-maintained and lovingly preserved - absolutely gorgeous!

“A fabulous european influenced cathedral”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Construction started in 1914 and finished in 1924. The stained glass which is awesome was made in Germany before the war and hidden till after. The stained glass is protected today with another layer of glass. The church is quite majestic with its late Gothic revival architecture. Inside, the chandeliers and statues were beautiful including the choir areas and side chapel. It is rare to see a church of this level of architecture in N. America.

“How DID this get here?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

Miners must have been a guilt-laden bunch, since this structure is way over the top for,the rural West. Gorgeous stained glass windows, lots of marble, not the fake stuff, and a very comforting feel. Only thing missing were the nuns with the clickers and swingin' rosary beads to beat the kids who get out of line

“Must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

Definitely is a place to put on the tour agenda, even if it's just a drive by. I am positive you will "jump out" and go inside. Ethereal, to say the least.
