“Very happy with stay and great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2011

Stayed here on our way back from Glacier. We had stopped wanting to go to the Montana State Fair and Rodeo. We arrived prior to the published check in time. Our room wasn't ready but the receptionist let us get all the paperwork done early and then gave us a map and very clear directions to some other sites we were going to go see. We ended up at the Russell museum that afternoon and were able to go right to our room when we returned. I am an early riser (my wife is not). The layout of the room and the lighting allowed me to get up early, drink coffee, and use the internet without disturbing her. The Continental Breakfast was good with enough seating available so that we weren't looking over our shoulder looking for a table while we were getting our food. The cleanliness of the room was great. We plan go visit Glacier again in a year or two and will definately stay here.

This is a great hotel for people who like a quiet, inexpensive hotel. The room is basic, no fancy TV's, swimming pools or extra's like shampoo, but for the price, it's pretty amazing. It is really clean (and I check very well) with lots of room and lots of nice towels. Book directly with the hotel, not on expedia or hotwire, etc, because you can get a better deal. It's not for partiers, and I think because there's no pool, there's not a lot of kids running around. So if you value a quiet, economical, and clean hotel stay, this is the place.

Stayed 2 nites in August. Clean quiet \hotel. Clean room and carpet. Good internet. Good a/c wall unit. Remember it has a fan and is not like quiet central air. Soap and towels provided. Bring your own shampoo or buy it t the desk. This property is adjacent to the Hospital and helipad. Bear this in mind. \not an issue for me as had a/c on and windows shut. Quiet secure neighbourhood. A bit tricky to find but if you have gps or can read a map its all good. Comfy bed and linnens new and clean. Plesant staff and tea coffee nd juice and toast at breakfast. If you want a hot breakfast remember its not here, and the price reflects this. Will stay here again if in the area. Good value.

Knew the room was inexpensive and was not going to be special. At first the room looked Okish, dated but fairly cleen but...
-worst bed ever (sagged in the middle, feet were higher than my head, completely flat pillows)
-1ply cheap toilet paper
-no soap/shampoo etc
-toilet and sink cracked

Hello Travelers to Great Falls. As General Manager of The Great Falls Inn by Riversage, I would like to respond to the most recent comment left about The Great Falls Inn.

First of all, I would like to reply to the title “Flea Bag” for this particular comment. As you can see this guest gave us a four (4) out of five (5) for cleanliness. This title does not even represent the rest of the review left by the guest.

Regarding the comments about the sagging beds, after research we discovered this guest was in a room with a mattress that was recently replaced with pillow top mattresses that have extra support beams in them. They do not sag and we have received numerous compliments on how great the beds are. Unfortunately beds are hard to distinguish whether they are “comfortable” or not because everyone has their own preference of beds. Some prefer them harder and some a bit softer. Also, everyone has a different preference for pillow thickness. The issue with thin pillows could have been solved immediately by calling the desk and we would have delivered extra pillows to the room to make the guest more comfortable.

To reply to the next issues about the toilet paper, soap, and shampoo, we strive to keep our costs down for our guests. The toilet paper is standard hotel toilet paper. With most hotels going “green,” this is what you will find in the majority of them. We ALWAYS place two bars of soap in the room. One for the face and one for the body, and shampoo is available at the desk also.

After checking this guest’s room, we determined that yes the sink has a minor crack in it, but the toilet did not. We have recently replaced approximately forty rooms of toilets, and this one is in perfect shape.

The Great Falls Inn has been very successful in providing a clean hotel, with tremendous service, and lovely surroundings. By far, the best value in Great Falls.

Our room was quiet and perfectly clean. Nicely furnished - a comfy easy chair, a good-sized table and two padded chairs. And a microwave and fridge. The wifi was fast; clocked on my phone at 4 Mbps. The bed was comfortable. All this for less than $70, tax included, with our AAA discount.

This hotel is next to a major medical center and specializes in housing patients and their families in town for medical treatment. However, it is a full-service hotel and anyone can stay there. You can book their standard rooms online for $65. When you check in you can get an additional discount if you have an AAA or AARP card. The standard room has a queen size and a full size bed, a recliner and a refrigerator. The room we had was well maintained and very clean. Since it's away from any highways it is quiet from that respect, but you can, of course, get some noise from adjacent rooms. The breakfast is just juice, coffee or tea and pastries or toast. The hotel is on the west side of town so it was good for us as we were coming in that way. The freeway is about 10-15 minutes away. A GPS is handy for locating the place. We'd stay again as it's a good value.
