My coworker and I stayed here in August of 2012. I was in a room on the top floor, she was in a room on the bottom floor, near the bar/casino (red flag #1). My room was great, no complaints... hers needed several things done at check-in (no towels, hair on bathroom floor, various other missing items). I slept like a baby, she was woken up by loud bar patrons, kids screaming down the hallway from the water park pool, and the exit door being right next to her front door. A few things we both agreed on though: the staff were all very friendly; the bar had great food and great happy hour prices; breakfast was delicious and plates were plenty big enough to split; the elevators are painstakingly slow; and the place could use about a 50% increase in available towels (they were always out and you were lucky to get one of each size at a time). All in all, a good stay - we were there for a work week - but a few bumps in the road, for sure.

Room Tip: Away from the casino & pool! But not too high up or you'll be waiting 15 minutes for the ele...

I apologize for your co-worker having to deal with the noise and the problems with the room. I have stayed at the hotel twice now and both have been good experiences.
The hotel feels very homey and friendly. I love the lobby with the waterfall, mountain, and animals.
The service was good and a repair that needed to be done was done quickly.
We ate breakfast at the restaurant and the food was delicious and the service was great.
I will continue to stay here in the future.

I stay in many Holiday Inns all over Canada and my experience is usually the same. Nice clean and comfortable rooms. This hotel did not live up to that standard. It is certainly in need of being updated. The room was dark and and could have used a face lift. The bathroom was old and the shower curtain was filthy. We had booked the room for 4 people and yet we had to ask for extra towels and soap and shampoo. Not enough coffee either. The noise was ridiculous from all the kids allowed to run at will up and down the hallways. The 1 thing that was very good was the attitude of the staff. Whatever we asked for they were very accomodating and pleasant.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience here over Thanksgiving weekend. Our bathrooms have been replaced with new granite countertops and tub surrounds within the past 2 years, and we have plans for updating our guest rooms in the near future. I apologize for the uncomfortable stay that you had. Our housekeeping supervisor is aware of the condition the bathroom was in upon checkin and will address her staff about the items you mentioned. It sounds like you might have booked a poolside room, and I know that particular weekend was a busy shopping weekend for us. It's not an excuse for the noise but just simply an explanation. It is nice to hear that our staff was accommodating. It's always a plus when we get praise about our customer service! Please let me know if you will be back in the future. I'd be happy to do something for you for the inconvenience.

We recently stayed there for four nights this November. This hotel is a great location for shopping and restaurants. Rooms are very comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Hallways are a little noisy. The restaurant is great for breakfast. Not so great in the evenings as there is a bar connected to the restaurant and it gets quite noisy and loud in the evenings. So if you want a quiet evening meal, I would suggest going out of the hotel.

Room Tip: Great for families.

We stayed at this hotel the evening of Nov. 4, 2012. We had also stayed at this same hotel in May, 2012. Different experiences. Our May trip was enjoyable, November trip questionable. Our check-in went smoothly (friendly staff). When we got to our room (3rd floor) we noticed that the table was very sticky & had not been cleaned. Went to the front desk & asked for a cleaning cloth as we just thought it an over-sight, no big deal. Front desk clerk asked if she wanted us to have her clean it and we said no, we could do that. After cleaning the table & looking around, there were child's fingerprints all over the lower half of the mirror and at the edge of the bedskirt, a french fry, straw & cracker. Lint & hair under the bathroom counter. Checked the sheets on the bed & they appeared clean. Took the items to the front desk & the clerk said "if we wanted she could give us a breakfast coupon". We did not take the coupon but if it had been re-worded "for the inconvenience, here is a breakfast coupon" we might have. We did ask her to make note of what we found to housekeeping & manager. Our room was booked through Priceline & we got it for a reasonable price. The next morning we inquired at the desk what it would cost to stay another night & the best price they could do was $99. Evidently, there was no note made nor did they want our business. Prior to check-out (approx. 9:30 a.m.) housekeeping was knocking at our door to see if they could clean the room. We hadn't checked-out yet nor indicated to front desk staff we would be staying?? We moved to another hotel for our second night in Great Falls & were very happy with that property. Unfortunately will not recommend this hotel to our friends or family. We really believe that short-cuts are being taken in the housekeeping department.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your last 2 stays with us. It's great to hear that your first stay was good, but I'm disappointed to hear that your second stay was not. It sounds like there were a number of housekeeping items that needed to be addressed. Please know that your comments about those items and the front desk will be passed on during our next manager and staff meeting. We never like to hear of a bad experience here and will do everything in our power to correct these things. It's unfortunate to hear that you will not recommend us in the future. We planned on only staying in great falls one night, but due to lack of time and having a 14 month old decided to stay overnight. We went to several other hotels that were close by but none had fridges; another hotel suggested the holiday inn. Originally we were quoted a high price but when we said we would check the quality inn they said they could give a better rate so we stayed.
The room was nice, looked recently renovated, the only problem was that the bathtub would not drain, but they sent a repairman ASAP. We had a room, first floor in the lobby and it was quiet except when my son was running around looking at the waterfalls and stuffed bears. the next morning we are breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel...it was good, fairly cheap and had nice staff...will probably stay here again if the price is good.

Excellent Service, Friendly Staff. Rooms nice with TV, Fridge,Microwave.No complaints and hesitation going Back!. Great falls is not that big and the hotel is on the main road, where all malls, eateries are there.
