Small, tight, close sites. Looks like most attention has been on the water park, which was good for 12 and under mostly.

Washroom facilities were good. Newer cabins and group kitchen sites.

Need to TLC their sites. More weeds than grass and need gravel replacement.

Not up to typical KOA standards.

I NEVER write a completely horrible review, but this KOA is beyond bad. Not only was the rate per night outrageous, but the landscaping (Yes, the landscaping) punctured my tire & cost me an additional $275!! There is no gravel on the roads to each site nor at the sites, sites are so unlevel, it took me over an hour to level my trailer, no cable hookups, WiFi does not connect to anything other than your cell phone, and the campsite was so incredibly small, it was an act of Congress to get my trailer out!! I will say that the staff was very nice although extremely unknowledgable when asked to help in any capacity! KOA should be appalled to even have their name attached to this campground!!

We've stayed here many times over the last 10 years, always in a cabin. The waterpark is always highlight for the kids. Nicely maintained although a bit on the cool side for the little ones. Restrooms are generally well cared for and cabins roomy and air conditioned. For a camping option in Great Falls, this truly is the best in the area. The RV sites are tight - we've never used an RV in this park but have watched several squeeze into their spots. Staff are kind and helpful and the kiddos love the afternoon free cookies.

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for cabins close to the restrooms if traveling with kids - there are some that are...

Camped here for two months, April and May 2014. The bathrooms and showers are spacious but not cleaned very well. Cobwebs and spiderwebs in all the corners, dirty drains, always out of paper towels. The laundry room just had new washers put in, fairly clean but small. Lots of noisy guests and very small spots with no room in between. Loud partying groups with no consideration for the people around them, the caretakers didn't enforce the quiet time. Although the cabins look nice, the camp spots are wedged in between large boulders and railroad ties causing tripping and scraping on your vehicles and trailers when trying to squeeze in or get out. Construction equipment going all day long, so loud you can't hear your radio or TV. Seems to be an expansion going on and a mall being built so it will be all summer! When it rains it's a mud hole. They have a water park and hot tubs but didn't have them going all the time we were there.

We had a great time for our first time staying at a Koa. As we had travelled from northern Alberta, Canada we were quite tired when we got there. The staff were very friendly and accommodating for our large truck and trailer. The young guy who helped us into our site was very helpful. One negative is the somewhat small sites were uneven and narrow turning areas. But hey its sardine camping what do you expect. The splash park was a welcome sight for our kids as well as the hot tubs. Was a quiet park and we found it a great stopping point.

My family and I stayed 1 night at this KOA on our way to Glacier National Park. I will start with the positive. The restrooms were very clean and spacious! Very nice. I read in another review that these "were the nicest restrooms in any campground we have stayed", We couldn't agree more!
Now for the Cons. We had made reservations 6-8 months prior to our arrival, we were travelling with friends and had made the reservations next to them, when we arrived they didn't have the correct sites. We were put in a site that was extremely tight, we have a 35 foot fifth wheel, with the slides out we were not able to walk around either side of the camper due to the shrubs. While I hate to complain about privacy it would have been nice to have them trimmed back some. Really my only other complaint was the pool, the website is a little misleading, the waterpark consisted of about 1-2 foot wading pool and had some slides for smaller children.
Would have been fine with that but after an 16 hour day of driving I was expecting a refreshing swim.
All and all the campground is clean and is a good place to stay passing through. probably wouldn't want to stay for an extended time due to lack of individual campsite sizes.

Just returned from a weekend camping with family at the Great Falls KOA. Rented a cabin for the young adults and also had a pull thru site for the motorhome. Found both to be overpriced for what you got. Cabin door was hard to open, and would not lock once we did get it open. When we went back to the office to get some help, the staff agreed that it did not work but did not have a plan to resolve the situation. We had to ask for a different cabin. Cabin itself was very basic, dirty and had uncomfortable mattresses. For the prices that they charge for the cabins it was a huge rip off.
RV site was very tight, and was surrounded by thorny bushes. When we put the motorhomes slide outs out, the trees were scratching the sides. We called and asked to have these branches trimmed, but no one ever came during our 3 day stay.
Website leads you to believe that there is a swimming pool, but it is really just a splash pad with some small water slides for the kids. It was maybe a foot and a half deep at most and filled with unsupervised children. Hot tub was cold and disgusting.
The worst part of the weekend occurred due to the incompetence of the manager SAM. As we ate dinner on Saturday night at 730 a neighbor came over to our site and told us to be quiet as they were putting their 4 kids to bed. At that point of the very early evening we did not have any music on, but were just enjoying a delicious dinner outside with our family and were talking quietly as a group, so the fact that we were asked to be quiet was quiet absurd. It was also only 730. After dinner we turned some country music on in the RV, but had the volume low enough to have a conversation with someone without raising the volume of your voice. This was apparently unacceptable to our 730 to bed neighbors as they called the management, SAM to come and confront us. SAM came to our campsite, and told us to turn off our music as it was too loud. It was now only 9:00. Had she even had any sense of fairness she would have just been able to listen with her ears to determine that we were not being loud, our music was not loud and in fact was many volumes lower than the music the campground was blaring out over at the camp Kitchens. SAM was very rude to us as well as unreasonable. A quick walk around the campground confirmed that our campsite was not loud, many other sites had blaring music and parties going on. About 11:00 a security guard came over as our neighbors had yet again complained, but when he arrived he told us that we were not being loud at all, so he did not have any complaints against us. Despite this, SAM returned yet again at 12:00 to "shut us down." We again were not being loud, just having conversations as a family but SAM chose not to see for herself that we were not loud. She was rude to us and then chose to yell at two of her employees in the driveway, berating them in a very unprofessional manner. She was louder than anyone else in the campground, and her screaming at these employees could be heard by everyone. SAM'S rude behavior, inconsistency with all campers as far as volume levels and unprofessional manner that she treated the employees was disgusting and ruined a family get together. I would not recommend this campground as the prices for staying there are much too high for what you get and the management is poor, rude, unfair and unprofessional.
