“Staybridge suites awesome for families”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

We stayed at Staybridge suites for 2 nights, and shared a two bedroom suite with another family. There is a lot of room, and a fairly large kitchen with fridge/dishwasher/toaster oven. The pool area is fantastic, and the breakfast is incredible. We have stayed here for the past two years, and will continue to stay here everytime we go to Great Falls!

Get a river view room when you check in , the view is wonderful. Looks out on the river and the old depots of Great Falls. Out back is a gas fired fire, and great landscaping with grill , tables , chairs. Friendly service and very clean. I stay at HiExpress or Staybridge all the time and this is one of the best.

Room Tip: Room with a view of the river.

New hotel, with easy access to the downtown, airport, river area (walking path, road to Lewis and Clark Center) and Montana Expo Center. Trains loud at night. The breakfast area was crowded.Very warm and friendly staff.

Very friendly staff. Very accommodating to our Large dog. Good variety of foods for breakfast (included). Mon-Thur evening specials for appetizers/supper also included. Very comfortable beds... pillows not as nice. Room was very clean. Full size fridge was perfect as we did lots of grocery shopping and a full size microwave. There is also a dishwasher and sink in the room with cutlery for when we wanted to eat in. The hotel was in a great location near the river and there was a walking trail that was perfect for the dog. Hotel is also very close to the awl-mart and the mall where scheels is located.

Had the studio suite which is fine for short stays. The room showed no signs of wear and tear. One of the nicest features of the room is there are wall outlets everywhere. No need to crawl under the desk or move furnature to plug in your chargers. The free breakfast buffet was nice. In addition to offering a couple hot entrees they also had 2 waffle makers. Many places I have stayed at I have had to fight with the waffle makers to get something that kinda resembled a waffle. Here they had the waffle makers dialed in just right. Best waffle I have ever had at a hotel. There is a railroad track right behind the hotel but I only heard a couple trains go by.

Stayed one night mid September, in town to see the Russell watercolor exhibit. Selected this hotel for it's good reviews and attractiveness.

It generally lived up to the ratings. We liked the room and so on.

My elderly father had the bedroom, I took the sofabed, which had not been made in spite of the clerk seeing that we needed two beds and said nothing at check in. Don't wait until bedtime to discover you need to go find the bedding in the back closet and make it yourself at midnight. Annoying. The clerk should have been more helpful; he was slow and seemed very green.

Be sure and spend time outside in the plaza out back. Firepit, waterfall, lots of seating, facing the river. Really enjoyed it. The best thing about the hotel.

Breakfast was nothing special, we thought. Typical chain bland plastic calibre food.

The owner is developing the block, with a new brewpub/coffee house I should have spent more time checking out, right in the parking lot.

Watch out for the trippy landscape design. We parked in the disabled stall only to climb out of the car and step on a large field of protruding rocks.

Room Tip: Facing the river view.

We stayed here one evening on our way out west. Very nice hotel, inside and outside. Every room is a suite, the decor is modern, beds and pillows are comfy. Location is very central to everything. The grounds are well kept, with lots of tables and seating and gas outdoor grilles so you can cook out!!. The breakfast is fantastic, lots of hot protein items. It was so nice, I wish I had a reason to stay longer.
