We stayed at this hotel for one night. For a town of this size, I think this was a good hotel. This is definitely an older hotel, but the rooms have been recently updated to have a modern decor with a flat screen TV, new furniture, and new bedding (the pictures are Trip Advisor do not display what the renovated rooms look like). Only the vanity and bathroom were not updated.
Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. There are smoking rooms in this hotel so I was concerned the hotel would smell smokey, but there was only a slight smell.
Our room was very comfortable and clean. The beds are a little firm for my taste, but still fine.
The morning breakfast was very good as far as hotels go. Eggs, sausage patties, make your own waffles, yogurt, English muffins, toast, coffee, milk, cereal, assorted juices--a nice assortment. The breakfast area was clean and also had an updated decor.
The pool is a nice size. The water is a little on the cool side, and it was pretty strong chlorine, but was still able to have a nice swim. The pool area was pretty clean; however, the floor is showing some age. Tiles in some of the areas were crumbling and there was one section by the hot tub that had really chipped off. But it wasn't a big deal.
I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Glendive. It was comfortable, clean, and friendly. While probably an average hotel in a larger city, I'm rating it "very good" because I think in a town of this size, it is probably your best bet and is reasonably priced considering the alternatives.
