“Outstanding hamburger and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

The last really good hamburrger I had was in Harlem Mt about 15 years ago prior to my GGW burger at this restaurant. I like the melt in your mouth rather greasy burger with the fresh thin bun toasted perfect. Heaven! Minimal salad bar was ok and the service was a no attitude come on in and sit yaself down approach. O God that cheeseburger was good!

“The Ribeye Steak was great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Cooked to perfection, tender and delicious. My friend had a salad with fresh strawberries, blueberries, almonds, and chicken on romaine. She loved it!

“45 min to get food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2012 via mobile

Took 45 min to get breakfast this AM . Arrived 7:30 - food at 8:10. Sheesh.

I even watched people come and go.

Probably just a bad waitress experience.

“Average. Right up the middle. Fine but forgettable.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2011

This is the restaurant inside the Cottonwood Inn, so it has a certain convenience if you are staying in the hotel. It is very "average" in most respects. it isn't a huge place but it's not tiny, the food is okay but not spectacular, and the wait staff is competent but not overly mindful.

We ate there twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast. They have a regular menu and a buffet. The buffet was Chicken Cordon Bleu, but I'm pretty sure they came from a big bag of frozen pre-made ones. They were okay. The salad bar is kind of like the ones they used to have at Wendy's.

The breakfast was good but the place was very crowded and the going was slow. This was probably due to the fact that there was a lot of business in town that weekend. About the same as lunch...decent food that is neither cheap nor terribly expensive.

The decor is clean but unremarkable. It could have been in a hotel anywhere.

There are a few different choices for eating in Glasgow, and after looking around some I would say that most are of the same calibre. That's not knocking them; small towns don't often have a lot of pretentious places. If I was at the Cottonwood again I would eat there again as well because it is convenient and adequate. Give it a try...you'll neither be incredibly impressed nor sorely disappointed.

“Not bad all things considered.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2011

I ate there tonight as it is part of the hotel where I'm staying - the Cottonwood Inn. Ihad the Walleye which at $18.79 I thought was overpriced. It was also undercooked. The salad bar was limited with small plates but not bad. The bread they served in a small loaf tasted and smelled fresh and was food. Also their vegetable medley they served was good with lots of it. The waitress was courteous and attentive. Menu is mostly steaks and country home cooking style although I did see other patrons dining on salads that looked good. Overall not bad especially considering the location. I'll eat there again - if it's better I'll let you know.
