This was the worst food that we had during our two week road trip in SD, WY, MT, ID and ND. We had dinner here on our first night in Gardiner because it was right next door to our hotel. The place was moderately busy but not crowded at all. Service was slow but friendly. Décor was an interesting old west theme but I think they missed taking down some Christmas decorations. We decided to keep it simple expecting that delivering a decent burger should be something that the kitchen probably was best at. We were wrong. My bison burger was way overdone, almost burnt despite ordering it medium, the same for my partner’s beef burger. The fries were an undercooked greasy mess. We asked for a house salad after placing our order and they came on hot plates probably right out of the dishwasher. Our server, while friendly appeared to have been drinking. There are better places and choices in this little town despite what other reviews have indicated. You can walk or drive to many and we strongly suggest that you do.
