“Rustic Cabins Near Civilization”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Convenient and reasonably priced, the Stanton Creek Lodge was a friendly, typical rustic cabin experience with the bonus of being near local towns and the park. The cabin itself was a good size, clean, and provided towels. Yes, there is the camp bathroom... Basically an unfinished space that can only accommodate one person at a time. The shower was decent, though. Fix that up and maybe plant some trees between the cabins and the road and it's a 5 star place. Recommended for a comfortable night between park visits.

We were thinking about just camping in Glacier Park and these's cabins were the perfect compromise between a hotel and a tent. It had a small fridge, microwave and full bathroom. The cabin was tiny, but it was just what we needed. There's a fire pit outside. There's also a little lodge that sells firewood and serves a full bar. The guy who runs the whole place gave us the best tips about what to see in Glacier and the surrounding areas. He was so kind and helpfull! If we return to Glacier we will absolutely stay here again. The cabins are only 15 minutes from the West entrance of Glacier. Don't expect some fancy resort, it's just little cabins, but it's the perfect step up from a tent.

Room Tip: There are cabins with and without bathrooms. I'd recommending paying a bit more so you have a ba...

It's unfortunate the state we found these cabins in. The cabins, especially the bathroom doesn't look like it's been cleaned in months. There were bugs and cobwebs all over the bathroom as well. As far as the beds were concerned, to be honest, my husband and I slept on top of the sheets, as we were afraid of what might be under the sheets. The bathhouse as well was not very clean. We were glad to move on...The one good thing was the owner was very accomadating and helpful in helping us plan our days in Glacier.
