“What a great atmosphere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2011

Three of us were staying in one of the two log cabins as a base for our Montana fishing trip for a five nights. This is a good central location for exploring or fishing in the Yellowstone Park, the Yellowstone River, Spring Creeks or other Montana Rivers further afield in various directions.

We had a fantastic stay, the cabins were perfect - spacious, with a great rustic atmosphere and well appointed. Very comfortable. The owners, Tim and Judi, were really friendly with great knowledge and stories of the area. And Judi's breakfasts were legendary.

Sitting out on the deck with an inspiring view of the Absoroka Range, right on a private stretch of the mighty Yellowstone is going to be a hard one to beat.

Highly recommended.

This was a beautiful place to stay. There are two cabins, right on the Yellowstone river. Judi, the owner, was very sweet and accomodating. She also cooks a great breakfast.

The cabin we stayed in had two bedrooms with one full/queen sized bed in each, and a relatively small bathroom. There was a nice open kitchen and living room. We were greeted with some delicious cookies.

Remember to bring bug spray if you're coming during the summer! There was some in the cabin, luckily, but I'm not sure if it's always provided or not.

It's a little hard to find off the highway. It's between mile markers 028 and 029 on the highway. There's just a little sign off the road that's a bit hard to see.

Getting in to town is a bit of a pain, especially with Montana construction, so if you're staying here you definitely need to prepare for a bit of driving in order to see Yellowstone or anything else in Montana. But if you're just looking for a peaceful place to relax, this is great.
