4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014

This was a great bed and breakfast at east glacier The rooms were reasonable clean and cozy We had a queen bed with microwave refrigerator flat screen TV and jetted tub There was a large selection of snacks and breakfast foods available all day There is no eating area or trays to carry food to your room (ackward) The friendly couple that run it are always available willing and eager to help with recommendations directions etc. It is less than a block to restaurants and shops
Has AAA discount

Room Tip: We stayed in room 12 which was the most remote cottage from train

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

My family and I came in on amtrak to East Glacier. When we stepped off of the train the Manager Randy was there to drive us to the motel. That was a nice surprise! We had a lot of luggage, so he really helped us out. When we arrived at the inn, Randy took us to our room and helped us get everything inside. He also had turned on the heat and had the room very comfortable for us. He let us know that if we needed anything that he and his wife were happy to help. Our room was very clean and neat. Our bed was very comfortable. Breakfast area was very nice and they had a lot to choose from (for a small inn). We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

What saved this stay for us was the kindness of the managers, Randy and Desiree. We very much enjoyed talking to them. However, during our recent 11 day cross country trip and staying in 11 different places each night, this place ranked at the bottom. Beds/pillow were old and non-supportive. Room was cramped and it was tricky to find outlets to plug in our inevitable load of electronics these days. Walls were thin and you heard just about everything your neighbor did. Parking was way too tight/cramped. Plus if I'd known we were only yards away from the railroad track, I would have picked a different hotel.

Rooms are very comfy, but a bit small. But it really felt like home! The owners took a lot of care in decorating the rooms and providing a lot of information on local travel options. This makes a great option for visiting the Two Medicine Valley (in late summer). You can walk from the Dancing Bears to the historic part of East Glacier and beyond, and nature is right outside!

Room Tip: try for room 12; reserve well in advance since they fill up quickly

A small, well run motel with atmosphere up the wazoo! We stayed there June 25, 2014. Great decor, good continental breakfast, reasonably priced! A very comfortable room, and the "staff" had good advice, offered a friendly welcome, and made us feel at home. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Lovely & very clean rooms. Super friendly managers. Parking a little tricky, but they worked with us. Nostalgic feel but nicely updated beds & fixtures. Appreciated the nice assortment of snacks in the complementary area. Great wi-fi speed. Would definitely stay here again!
