This little motel is just a few miles west of the entrance to Glacier National Park, very convenient, cosy, clean and cheap. We were booking our stay at the last minute, and everything inside Glacier was full, as were most of the places that showed up through the big lodging search sites. This place was not on those sites, but we found the website through Google and called them up based on the proximity to the park, and booked a cabin with A/C for $90 per night, very cheap for the high season. We weren't expecting much, but were pleasantly surprised. The motel is old-fashioned and cute, and even though it's on the main drag into Glacier, it's back from the road and up a hill a bit, so was very quiet at night. In fact, they put us in one of the non-cabin rooms without A/C by mistake at first, but we liked it so much we decided to keep that room (which was only $78) instead of moving to the cabin. We had been warned about the heat at Glacier in August and that A/C was a necessity, but we found our room to be very cool and comfortable even without it. That was probably because the whole motel is set under trees and is very shaded. Another benefit of this place is that right across the road is a very good restaurant, the Glacier Grill, that serves an excellent breakfast.
