“Charm galore”

This lovely B&B was a pleasure to spend time at. From the outside appearance of the well manicured grounds with lovely flowers and trees and a swing on the front porch , to the building details to the well maintained insides of the main house and the guest house, this place was PERFECT. The owner Chris asks that you take your shoes off when entering the home...I find that quite homey and makes you feel like you are in your own home right away.....The common space is comfortable and spacious. The room I had in the Garden House called the Aspen Room was delightful...beautiful quilted bed that was extremely comfortable.. The breakfasts were absolutely scrumptious....really great. Nice selection of teas as well.

Room Tip: The Aspen room in the Garden house was perfect for myself or a couple. Very comfortable. Bathroom...

After many stressful days of travel, Chris at the Lehrkind provided a much-needed oasis. An inviting, gracious host with amazing culinary skills that you'll definitely appreciate at breakfast time! The Lehrkind is just by historic downtown Bozeman, which boasts many quaint shops and restaurants to enjoy. We loved the attention to detail in decor, and the inn was quiet and private. Can't wait to stay again!

My husband and I spent the last night of our Yellowstone vacation at the gorgeous Lehrkind Mansion. The location was ideal as it is around the corner from downtown Bozeman and not far from the airport. The mansion was beautiful and laced with history you could almost feel from the moment you entered the gates. The gardens were whimsical and made me want to sit outside and read a good book. Chris was extremely accomodating and gave us a thorough tour of the mansion and its history. Our stay was in the Garden House. The furniture matched the feel of the entire property and we got the best night of sleep - the comfort of the mattress and bedding cannot be beat! We would highly reccommend staying here if you are in the Bozeman area.

From the initial tour upon arrival, through the final breakfast, Chris and his team paid attention to every detail. He made special arrangements for our arrival, and gave good recommendations for spots to eat and see in Bozeman. The breakfast was boutique and delicious, served family style in such an atmosphere that we strangers quickly started chatting like old friends.

Room Tip: The room we stayed in in the Garden House was perfect! The pictures online matched exactly what we...

We arrived in Bozeman at a busy time of year without a reservation and stumbled into the last room in town. Luckily for us, this room was at the Lehrkind Mansion. Chris graciously went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable in our room in the Garden House.

The Lehrkind Mansion is beautifully appointed and Chris welcomed us with a tour of the beautiful accommodations. Would we like to play games in the parlor? Did anyone play the piano? And the 7 foot music box!

The room was private and spacious, with a lovely claw-footed tub in the bathroom. Our bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed listening to the trains rumble through town once or twice in the night. While the Inn was full, this was evidenced only by the shoes left by the door (as requested by Chris) and people at breakfast. Otherwise, guests were quiet!

Breakfast was delicious, with fresh cut fruit and omelets for all. Coffee was plentiful and tea for the non-coffee drinkers was easily available.

Having never been to Bozeman before, we were not sure what to expect. However, having stayed at the Lehrfield Mansion, we do know that any future trips will likely include a reserved stay at the Lehrfield Mansion.

Just spent a simply wonderful weekend at the Lehrkind in Bozeman. The breakfast was delicious, the parlor areas were remarkable, the landscaping was extraordinary, the Garden House where I stayed was very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The rare 7 foot tall music box was amazing to hear. The hosts could not have been more accommodating. I was impressed by their attention to detail--interior design, building upkeep, guest service. All outstanding. I'm gluten-sensitive and Chris made gluten-free muffins for me--from scratch!

If you are in the area make the Lehrkind Mansion your stop.
Chris has a way for making a stay really enjoyable. Our stay was great and the town of Bozeman is not to be missed.

Also, the breakfast was the best we had on the whole trip.
