“Good food, good beer, good service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

We had to wait 45 minutes for a table on a Friday night around 6 pm, but it was worth it. The tables at the bar were very popular but we never scored one.

“Gluten Free Options Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

Montana Ale Works is a fantastic place to eat in Bozeman. I live in Bozeman and still love going here. It is always bustling with people and the most popular restaurant in town (can get a little noisy). There is a fantastic variety of food options from burgers and salads to fancy salmon dishes. The gluten free options are abundant...LOVE the GF fish tacos. The kitchen takes pride in preparing your emal with care to avoid gluten contamination as best as they can. They also have Green's GF beers there.

The wait and bar staff have always been helpful and attentive. Don't miss Montana Ale Works...but be prepared to wait awhile for a table especially on weekend nights. Good venue for kids also.

“Excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

MT Ale-works has delicious food, great beer and service. We have never had anything but excellent service at this popular Bozeman eatery. Happy hour prices can make for a reasonably priced night out.

“Fun atmosphere and good meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

We arrived around 8:00 on a Thursday night and could barely find a parking spot - maybe a 15 minute wait to be seated. It seemed a bit loud at first, but I guess the high ceiling of the converted old railroad building absorbed the sound. Although they ran out of two of the night's specials (pan seared salmon and shepherd's pie), we had a really good bison burger and grilled vegetable quesadillas. Great selection of beers, some local. Some families with small kids, lots of college students. Some booths, some tables, plus seats at the bar. Very helpful and pleasant waitress!
