My sister & I spent one night at the Olive Branch Inn. This is not a B&B but it is similar to one in that it's a house offering individual bedrooms with common living spaces for guests' use. The house is over-decorated for my (non-victorian) tastes & it seems that there is an overly high reliance placed on the home's historical status as a draw. But it was clean & easy to stay at, our beds were comfortable, & the streets were quiet. Breakfast items (cereals, toast, fruit) were set out in the dining room, although we elected to have breakfast at a coffee shop/bakery downtown. There was no staff on-site while we were there -- we were provided instructions on how to get into the house on our own so we had no interaction with staff beyond making the reservation. This was ok for us but if you want the personal touch of a person to greet you, this might not be the right place for you. If you're pretty independent, though, and want a non-hotel hotel experiece, The Olive Branch might be perfect for you. Street parking is free.
