My husband and I were at the Billings Texas Road House last weekend 10-18-08. We were with his sister and niece. After a fair meal at best, we split the bill. I left a $5.00 cash tip and my sister in law wrote the $5.00 tip on her reciept. My husband paid for our meal with our debit card and wrote 0 in the tip area of our bill. Low and behold when I checked our bank account two days later, I saw there was $5.00 added to our total amount that we did not authorize! It seems the waitress took it upon herself to add on another $5.00 from our account into her pocket. Giving herself amost a 30% tip from our table. Wow! I have talked to the management and they consider this a "Mistake". Funny, my Bank called it "Unauthorized access to our account and they consider it FRAUD" SAVE YOUR RECIEPT from this company and check your account. This happened after we left the resturant and was caught when I balanced our account. As of today 10-23-08 no refund from company. Staff may feel free to go into YOUR bank account with out your authorization if they feel they need a bigger TIP! BEWARE, Pay with Cash?
