“Hilltop Inn is a Good Choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

We spent one night at the Hilltop Inn. The location is good, although it was not easy to find even with a map and GPS -- partly because we passed it once and didn't see the sign and mistook it for part of the hospital. The Inn is directly beside Yellowtone Health Center which is beside St. Vincent's Hospital, so if you're there for treatment, it's definitely the place to stay.

We were not in town for medical treatment (thank the good Lord!), but almost every other guest in the hotel that we saw seemed to be there for some kind of treatment. It made me thankful to be healthy, but sad for them.

We had a very nice size room with a recliner, microwave and refrigerator. The hotel really tries to make the rooms comfortable for people who must stay a number of days for health reasons. Our room was also clean and comfortable. The bed was fairly good, although not quite as soft as I prefer (i'm very picky about beds). My husband thought it was fine. A coin operated laundry was a few doors from our room and was very handy for doing a load of washing.

The woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is sparse, with no milk and cereal, but at least we could eat a little something and not have to stop for breakfast. They had various breads, muffins, oatmeal, coffee and juice.

This room was a bargain for the town of Billings when I researched where to stay. At only $68.41 total with tax, we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend this hotel.

“Friendly Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

We stayed for one night only. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was provided but consisted of toast, sweets, juice and coffee only. This hotel has a relationship with Bin 119, a local restaurant located a little further downtown and provides a discount to patrons. We checked it out and were very happy with our meal and waiter!

“Comfortable and affordable.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

We needed to stay only one night while passing through Billings. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Everything in the room was in good working order and well maintained. The desk staff was happy to make recommendations for a spot for dinner and even offered some discount coupons. The breakfast is truly continental - everything came from a bakery of some sort.

“needed to be close to hospital for work”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

after I left the super 8 I wanted to be close to the facility I was supposed to work at. I asked if I could check in earlier than usual because from one hotel to the other I would be homeless waiting in between. Turns out a couple of hours after I left the super8 they called and had my room ready. Because I travel with pets they had informed me I would be on the top floor at the end of the hall. They also had a small elevator but the difference between the 2 is like night and day. The room even though does not have a stove and a full frigerator is clean and the bed is very comfy. The staff go out of their way to help you in any way they can. They have a continental breakfast at 600am to 900am during the week and a little longer on weekends. They are within walking distance of yellowstone medical center and st vincent's and if you tell them u are working for or coming here for medical reasons they give you a discount on the room. So far my stay has been enjoyable considering. The rooms are quiet and my pets have adjusted pretty quickly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone either having an outpatient procedure done or working in the hospital setting.

“Nice staff and hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012 via mobile

Exceptional value. Located adjacent to a medical center and clinics, making it ideal for those here for medical care or treatment. Nevertheless the area feels residential, not commercial. A quiet setting.
