had to pay for Internet. It did NOT work. No refund. 4 people in room (parents / 2 kids); we had 2 towels. Asked for more towels, got laughed at. Seriously. No breakfast, well...for the price. But, no coffee either. Seriously? Outside doors do not lock, and this is a rough part of town. Staff was rude and condescending. What's up with that? I make more $$ in a day than they do in a week and they talk down to me? Windows do not lock. Seroiusly. Bedding, mattress, pillows...sucked bad. Cable TV, but only 3 channels worked on the 1980's CRT television (19"). Employees more concerned with smoking marijuanan in the laundry room than service. Trash bags laying in hallways. Just too much to describe, a total nightmare.

Room Tip: Look somewhere else, period. If you do stay here, bring a gun., seriously.

Nice motel. Modern rooms. Clean and comfortable. Everything I expected from a Motel 6....until morning
That was when the ants showed up. Hundreds of them...all over the bed by the window.
They weren't there when I went to sleep so they must have snuck in sometime in the night.
The lady at the desk in the morning came to investigate the intrusion and assured me the maintenance people would be all over it.
Other than that...a good clean place at a great price.

The staff here are so helpful with everything. We have never asked anything of them that wasn't given. We stay here twice a month and always need a late checkout and always get one. The kids love the pool. I always check my linens to be sure the beds have been changed and if I want them changed they are very accommodating. This motel is a great value for the price.

Don't stay here. If you have never been to Billings before, DON'T STAY HERE! Billings is, IMHO, the worst place I have ever been. The traffic is awful, the infrastructure pathetic, nothing but traffic jams, cold weather, grouchy people, a big, overgrown strip mall.

This motel 6 location is terrible: a dead-end, inter-state slum, a million miles from anywhere except truck repairs and a porn store. What were they thinking? Not about their customers, that's for sure. There are no restaurants anywhere nearby, no where to walk. It is depressing. A place only designed for automobiles. After driving all day, I don't want to pull in here and have to drive two miles thru this harrowing, lame-brained, Billings street scheme to get a sandwich. But here I am. [--]

As far as inside the motel--it's nice. Too bad they didn't care enough about me to build it someplace amenable to humans. This might be a nice place for an automobile or a droid, but people should avoid it at all costs.

Part of our Road Trip around the NW US, we had driven across from Coeur d'Alene (501 miles) and had prebooked the Motel 6 North, some confusion as the first Motel 6 you see is the Billings South one but they pointed us in the right direction.

First room smelt damp so asked for a change, staf was very helpful and put us a couple of doors down. To be honest we would have preferred an upstairs quieter room but the receptionsist seemed to think being near the reception and on the ground floor was better. Able to park the car right under the window helped with us with feeling secure overnight.

Paid $79 and I think wifi was supposed to be extra but was given the access codes without having to pay. Good location and helpful staff who recommended Famous Daves for dinner and then the Southern Empire Emporium for breakfast.

A good value option for a road trip.

Asfar as a Motel 6 goes this is excellent. It is very clean and has been remolded a few years ago. Has a indoor pool for the kiddies. Staff has been friendly. Wifi is $2.99 and is FAST. The floor of the room is a wood laminate and nice. Has a tub not just a shower stall. Paid $119.000 total for two nights. You can get Hotels in Billings with more amenties but we booked rather late and decided to just stay here. (Booked online). There is another Motel 6 oddy enough across the stree. The south but does not appear to be as nice as this one and has no pool. For a Motel6 I don't think you will find much better. Complaints? Bring your own shampoo. Could use a few more blankets and the pillows are weak but no big deal. As I said, the building and room itself are in excellent shape as if new!

Stay at the north because the south while it might be five dollars cheaper ,, did not feel safe.
Only thing wrong with this newly renovated hotel is it was not as clean as it could have been in the bathroom however I have seen worse. Also, north has parking for trailers and the south motel 6, just across the street did not have parking for a trailer, you would have to park on the street.
