“Come Hungry!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2014

Thanks again TA reviewers for helping us find this great restaurant on our road trip. Very busy when we walked in, checked out all the meals on tables, everything looked so good it was so hard to decide what to have. Both meals were great and very large! The homemade muffins where fantastic. Could easily split a meal, but so good we wanted 2!

“Well worth the drive getting there!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

When I first arrived to Montana I had a list of the best places in Flathead from a friend who used to live here. Echo Lake Cafe was on it, with big stars next to the name. First time I was there I was hooked! Great food, really efficient staff that know how to deal with popularity and a lot of customers, and the luxury of being able to sit outside for breakfast and see the mountains....Wow!

They use organic ingredients, everything is made on site, with fresh combinations of spices and just good cooking. First time there I ordered the Dill and Artichoke Omelette, it was light and creamy, and amazing. Second time I ordered the Corned Beef Hash, homemade, perfect! Then I had the Joe's Special, which is a long time standby dish of mine, and theirs was the best I have ever had, lots of garlic and zest that is usually lacking in a Joe's dish.

This is a fantastic breakfast or brunch options, as it is locally owned and run, the food is organic and fresh, and the prices are very similar to the other places in our area, very reasonable. I am gluten free so I had many options and the staff is very helpful at navigating through the options.

It is worth taking the drive from wherever you are in Flathead and making the trip out there to dine with them. And while you are there, order some goodies to take home with you!!
