“Terrific Find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

What a great place to stay and kick off our Montana adventure. Room was wonderful with great linens, breakfasts were scrumptious and held us over all day! Thanks, Megan, for getting our trip off to such a great start.

This is a beautiful setting with a lovely Inn and a gracious, fun hostess! Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and would stay again. Next time I will get one of the rooms with a jacuzzi to add further comfort to the stay! Thanks so much Megan!

Room Tip: Get a jacuzzi room for added leisure!

How often can you stay at a comfortable and cozy place anywhere in the world, and never want to leave? Then to top it off, enjoy resident owner, chef extraordinaire, and world philosopher Megan for hours? This is the place if you are headed anywhere near Glacier National Park. The lodging is always superb, well appointed. We always feel spoiled here. She tops that off with gourmet breakfasts, and optional dinners. Her recipes and menus are the type Grandma may have hidden away. Or she may perform one of her magic tricks with some of her own creations. But there is much much more. Engage her in some conversation, and stories come pouring out faster than the champagne we were drinking!!! She could be a TV talk show host, or story teller down at the local Bigfork Library. She makes it difficult to leave, even for something as spectacular as the Going to the Sun Road up at nearby Glacier National Park.

Room Tip: Get any of the jacuzzi rooms!

We recently stayed two nights at this inn, on our way to Glacier National Park. This truly is one of the best B&B's that we have stayed in. The room, food and settings are amazing. The owner Megan made us feel right at home. It was fun to see the deer come up to her porch. I would recommend this charming place to anyone and definitely would go back.

We are B&B Owners and we know what works. We give Candlewycke Inn high marks. We had many discussions with our host Megan because we felt we had much to learn from her on many levels. She really know how to run a B&B. She had presented her rooms, her home, her food, and her tie-in to the community with excellence and eye toward pleasing. She was extremely helpful so that the time we were able to spend in charming Bigfork (loved the town), was well spent. We give this Inn and it's owner high marks and would not have a problem recommending it to anyone. Bravo for a presentation well done!!!

My wife did 20 year anniversary at CW Inn. Nice accomodations, Megan is a business lady and has a great operation. S/ be noted--very quiet spot--surrounded by acreage and bands of conifers. Very clean, Megan does nice job with delicoius designer type breakfasts. Coffee was tad on weak side for my taste.

Room Tip: Glacier King room very nice, eastern exposure, not a lot of natural light was one downfall.

Thank you for your review. It makes me sad that you didn't let me know you like "high octane" coffee as do I and given the opportunity, would have made us a special pot. I always want to make your stay the best it can be. I can't change the design of my home but I can easily accommodate a request. Please give hotels and restaurants a heads-up to anything they can fix at the moment vs. finding out a missed opportunity. .

The Candlewycke Inn is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast, beautifully situated a few minutes outside Bigfork. Jacuzzi tub in the Glacier room was great, as was the king size bed (extremely comfortable!)
Megan our host was lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. The Candlewycke Inn is highly recommended, and a great value for the price!
