“Fun stop for food and drink”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

We checked the reviews and decided to swing off the freeway and have lunch here - good choice. Lots of parking (on the street, where we prefer), a warm welcome and some good food. We both had the walleye sandwich which was huge, hot and delicious. Good fries as well. Beer selection is good - wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of locals around, so they like it as well. Plus - life size cut outs of rock stars.

“Great little bar with good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

Stopped in Big Timber after a long day on the road. The receptionist at the super 8 motel recommended the bar which was within walking distance. It's got a good atmosphere, the servers were efficient and friendly and the food was tasty. I don't think Big Timber has much choice so this is recommended.

“Wonderful food & drinks!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

Stopped in big timber for lunch on our way home from Yellowstone, both my husband & I ordered burgers & curly fries. The food was so good, the burgers were cooked to perfection and fries were hot & crispy! The restaurant was clean, decor was nice and they had a few slot machines in a far back corner which gave us something to do while we waited on our food. The service was Ok, never refilled our drinks and forgot our appetizer until we reminded her.

“Poor Service, Bad Food!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

My husband and I left The Grand Hotel restaurant after reading the menu of the Thirsty Turtle which included several walleye dishes. The restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday night, had a minimum of 14 tables, to-go orders, and bar patrons with two waitresses for the entire establishment. Food was overcooked, waitress never checked back with us, and so we paid and got out of there. We should have stayed at the Grand's restaurant where everyone seemed to be very content. Our mistake!

“What a gem!”

Wow!Creative menu that comes through with great flavor; great wait-staff; playful decor and very clean. We stumbled on to this spot and we're so pleased with lunch.
