“The Best Sunday Brunch. Ever.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013 via mobile

During our two-month stay in Livingston, we took advantage of the Sunday brunch at the Grand Hotel. For only $12.55, the all-you-can-eat fest is a bargain. The choices are not overwhelming. They always serve their signature scrambled eggs, which are wonderful. There is sausage or bacon, a casserole, such as lasagne. Then, roast beef or another more luncheon item, such as chicken Kiev. Plenty of bread and sweet rolls plus a block of soft creamery butter. They always have delicious beets, potato salad, fresh fruit, deviled eggs, pasta/fresh greens salad, tossed salad. Bite sized desserts are large enough to share; small enough to eat more than one. Any beverage you could want. The quaint bar is in another room. Service is exceptional. The hotel itself is worth the visit. Be sure to make a reservation.

“Western charm, excellent chef”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

The energy level was high with many locals eating and visiting at this classic hotel/saloon, which made the dining experience great! The lamb was pricey ($33) but was served with class, cut at the table, and delicious. Fish and chips good too, lightly breaded, more fish than bread. Their chef obviously takes care with preparation and presentation of meals, salads were beautiful and an unusual and tasty mix. Our server was friendly and professional. For a small town like Big Timber, this place is a treasure. Get off the freeway in Big Timber, MT

“Great "High End" food and service and "casually formal" atmosphere.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

We drive a ways to dine and drink here with friends time to time from Bozeman, or if we are at a nearby RV park for the weekend. Great food and drinks (ample servings too!) but priced on the higher side for Montana small town fare. Menu has a good variety. Comfortable and friendly place. We recommend it! I do not recall outdoor seating, but we usually are there after dusk, so not sure I have asked.

“Don't miss this”

Loved the old west feel of the dining room .
A bit expensive for dinner but steaks were very good as was their local beer.

“Great dining in the bar or restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

Lucky for Big Timber to have a high quality restaurant/bar in such a small town. We like the bar atmosphere, a menu offering something for every palate and EXCELLENT local beef and speciality fish items daily. You can count on seasonal fresh menu items too. The restaurant also features an affordable and excellent Sunday brunch.
