“Scrumptious, Adventurous, Quality Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2014

If you want an incredible Montana meal, this is the place! They have Elk dishes and Venison for the outdoor enthusiasts! It's tasty and the Chef here knows how to prepare/serve all the varieties of meats, no problem. Every hunter knows if the Chef doesn't get-it, it'll taste all 'gamey', NOT a problem here where the Cowboy's are the Cook and they know how it's done, son!!

Really great drinks (Cocktails, beer, wine) and desserts!! So good, just close your eyes, point randomly and eat, you won't be disappointed!! Trust me ;)

“Good food and drink in a Montana atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014 via mobile

The food is good. I recommend the pheasant quesadilla (an appetizer to share), the red deer and the bison tenderloin. In the drink department, their Moscow Mule and Huckleberry Martini are excellent.

“Good Food and Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

We've eaten at Buck's many times and have never been disappointed. Excellent food and service. Extensive wine list. Their bison tenderloin is to die for. Be sure to try their skillet baked chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. It is large enough that you may want to share.

“Wild Game Trio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

We were looking for more of a "fine dining" spot than the norm in the town of Big Sky, and heard Buck's T-4 was the place for a good wine selection and great food. We were not disappointed. Polaris our hostess made an appetizer recommendation as we arrived, and it was a perfectly prepared Calamari dish with an asian style glaze that was delicious. I enjoyed a special of Red deer, Bison Tenderloin, and Antelope trio. Perfect with a Klinker Brick Zinfandel from Lodi. Service with a smile, and a wine list that would cater to any budget and taste profile. Lamb shank, and the biggest grilled Rib Eye steak I have ever seen were other dishes our group enjoyed. All were cooked to perfection, with creative vegetable sides. Bring a big appetite...... servings are very generous in true cowboy style!

“Good atmosphere and food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

My son and I stayed at Buck's and also ate at the restaurant several times. Food and atmosphere overall were good. The menu runs from upscale to burgers. Good wine list. My son had ribs two nights, one night they were great and the next, just ok. Burgers were good, Trout was good, but didn't care for the sauce on it. I would definitely go there again. We also liked the Gallatin River Grill down the road.
