“Excellent Thai food in Montana”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

I was pleasantly surprised to get authentic Thai food in Montana. They use fresh local ingredients, excellent quality of meats. All meals are family style & are very generous portion sizes.

What a great find! Portions were large and the Thai outstanding. Busy little place. Loved the selection.

“Time for a change”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

When you finally tire out of having steak and bison in the big sky area this is the place to go. An extremely small restaurant in a shopping mall in big sky but the food is outstanding. Everyone in our group of nine loved it

“Great Thai food in a beautiful setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

Great food, porch seating available, reasonable prices and a very friendly wait staff. The servings are huge. My daughter and I enjoyed our entrees and had enough leftover for a very large lunch.

“Best Thai Food and Best Value In Big Sky”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

If you love Thai food, then you're going to love, love, love the Lotus Pad. It was our favorite restaurant in Big Sky. The food is delicious and the portions are really huge. Two people could share one entree and leave stuffed. But why only experience one entree, when you can have a variety and then have leftovers the next day. We were so glad we had a room with a kitchen and microwave to reheat our leftovers, which were still amazing the next day. Definitely call for a reservation. We just showed up and the place was packed. The only seats available were at the counter watching the cooks, which was fine for us because we felt like we were at a Thai version of a Japanese hibachi restaurant (without the throwing of the shrimp into your mouth). They categorize the meals according to a heat index, but if you want something milder or spicier than listed, they are happy to please. When our travels next bring us back to Big Sky, the Lotus Pad will be the first place we come to for dinner!
