My husband and I just returned from a two-night stay at Bear Creek. We stayed in the Treehouse cabin which is a one-bedroom cabin with a private deck and hot tub. A stove and fridge as well as dishes and a coffee pot (sugar and creamer were provided too!) are a nice addition to the cabin. The path to the cabin is a bit steep; if you cannot climb stairs or steep hills you will want to choose a different cabin or room in the main lodge. Breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. We ate dinner both nights in the wine cellar. The BBQ sliders are SO GOOD as was the tasting platter (cheeses, grapes, strawberries, crackers, almonds, etc) and granny smith grilled cheese. The grounds are beautifully decorated. It is obvious the pride and attention to detail. We enjoyed tasting the local wines and visiting with the owner who recommended area attractions including Copper Run Distillery just a few minutes down the road. Branson is about 20 minutes away which is fine with us as we did not plan to go into town. Table Rock Lake is about 40 minutes depending on traffic. We rented bikes from the marina and took a nice ride. We are already planning a return trip in the fall!!
