We spent one night at this KOA about two weeks ago. It was horrible. My 2-year old daughter was awakened, terrified, almost hourly by the trains at the railroad crossing nearby. And although she didn't seem to notice the planes overhead, they kept my husband and I awake when the trains weren't passing though. I don't know who thought the location for this campground was a good idea, but it is terrible. Perhaps within the more solid walls of an RV you wouldn't notice the trains, but I would strongly advise anyone thinking about tent camping to find a different location. There were no trains the first few hours we were here (about 4pm-8pm), but as soon as the sun went down they started coming through. We counted 7 trains between 8:30pm and 4am. At 4 am we gave up on sleeping and just threw everyone and everything in the car and started driving.
