“Beautifully maintained”

The gardens were so beautiful. The geese had goslings and they were so comfortable with the visitors. The water features added to the tranquility of the gardens, I can't wait to visit throughout the year.

“Peaceful and Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

This park has beautiful water features, and is accented with bridges, as well as quaint Asian statues and structures. We noted a wedding taking place at a lovely spot on the grounds, and photographers were taking advantage of the gorgeous backdrops for photographs. The turtles and geese are very tame, so it is possible to get nice close-ups of these. There is an amphitheater set-up for outdoor events. This park is down the hill from the Nathanael Greene Park.

“Kite Festival”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

Nature at its best.... The far east brought to Springfield, MO., for us to enjoy. I have been to Japan in fact lived in Japan and this brought a whole lot of memories and I long to go back to Japan. This is as close as it gets and I enjoyed it immensely. The small tea-house is really nice and the wooden bridge was really cool too. This a place to come and visit you can't go wrong even saw some cherry blossoms and they are so pretty like the ones I remember in Japan.... home a way from home.... come and enjoy the far east.....

“Lovely place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

We visited the stroll garden on a fall afternoon. It cost $3 per person to get in an $1 for a big of fish food. Walking around the stroll garden was beautiful. There was a waterfall and a pond that made it even more lovely. The pond had many Koi fish; it was fun to feed them because they all came quickly. The only downside was having to watch where you step because there are geese that roam around and make a bit of a mess of the sidewalks.
