“Good deal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2008

Place is very close to Lambert's Restaurant which is the whole reason we visited this town. We also stopped by the Double Nickel - a nearby bar - and heard a very good country singer there and played pool.

It came with a very nice free breakfast, which was enjoyed.

We also got 3 free happy hour drinks each, but were so stuffed from Lambert's we couldn't drink them all.

Room was comfortable and basic, nothing overly impressive here.

Only concern was there were about 50 construction guys staying at the hotel as their home, there on assignment. Nothing against contstruction workers, but I think we were one of the only females there and it was a bit intimidating/etc.

After reading Trip Advisor reviews we decided to stay here on our way back to Indiana. While the staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was very good, we thought that this hotel was just average for the price. You get drinks and snacks in the evening but we prefer good beds and pillows. The feathers kept sticking me from one of the pillows, not to mention they were coming out and the beds were a bit lumpy, but bearable. There was a dead beetle in our bathroom which didn't thrill us either. This hotel is NOT new, they are building a Drury Inn and Suites next door but it was not yet open. Anyway, we thought the hotel was just okay and not really worth the price, would probably try another hotel next time around just for economy. We usually stay at Hamptons.
But understand that I also wouldn't tell someone not to stay here, we just had a little different experience from the rest.

Comfortable and very clean accommodations. This is a new property. They allowed us to secure a room a bit early which was appreciated as I wanted to stay in the room and rest while my husband went to a museum. Very helpful desk people. Good breakfast and good internet hookup, which is important to us. Rather small vanity area and room for the price, but overall an excellent place to stay.

Being a Youth Minister and having traveled to several places over the past 12 years with groups of teenagers, I thought I knew what to expect when it came time to check in. As our group of 45 unloaded from our vans on the way home from our mission week in Mississippi to help with Hurricane Katrina relief, I warned the group not to get too excited because I thought we would have to wait at least an hour for our check in process.

Much to my surprise and delight, all the rooms keys were ready and all I had to do was sign one paper and hand out the keys!

The hotel personnel could not have been nicer to our group. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff very helpful.

I will now only book my groups trips with Drury Inn!

One Very Satisfied Customer

The rooms at this hotel are clean and pretty basic. They come with free internet access which was a definite plus. The best part of this hotel is the free happy hour each evening where you get three free drinks of your choice. Also, the free breakfast in the morning was a good way to start the day. You are not going to find any "fancy" hotels in Sikeston, so for the money and what's available, I would stay here again
