“Excellent front desk service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2007

I stayed at the comfort inn for one night. We checked in late about 6 in the evening but was greeted very warmly. The woman working the front desk (I believe her name was amanda) was very friendly and very helpful with getting us settled in. Later that night, I asked her where a good place to get a quick meal and she directed us to a great place to eat.

The overall hotel was very clean and had its own style and looks. The breakfast was fantastic and went above the standard continental breakfast. The only thing I regret is that the pool was being fixed so I didn't get to jump in.

Overall the hotel was great but the service of the front desk took it over the top.

Very comfortable hotel with everything you need. The lobby and rooms were very clean and well-kept. The hotel is fairly modern with surprisingly cozy pillow-top mattresses. The rooms are really quiet...couldn't hear any noise from other rooms or the hallway. Location is fine with restaurants all around the hotel within walking distance. Don't miss the frozen custard place right in front of the hotel! Jack's Diner is great for breakfast (didn't try lunch or dinner there). In St. Robert your choices are limited, and we were glad there was a hotel as cute as this there! Oh, if you are a non-smoker you may want to request a room on the ground floor. We were on the third ( a non-smoking floor), and the hallways were very smoky. Didn't seem to have that problem on the ground floor.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were very nice and they were also clean. The lobby is fantastic and seems like more of a lodge than a hotel. The price of the room was very reasonable. It's close to Fort Leonard Wood and it was very easy to drive between the two locations.

The staff at this hotel is great they were very helpful. This is one of the best hotels that we have stayed at. The room was average size, but nice. Our room had both a microware and a fridge. We were allowed to check in early, and had a late check out! For over night stays we will stay here again, otherwise we will stay at there sister hotel the MainStay Suites which is better for lengthy stays!

Since I was traveling without my husband on this trip, I wanted to stay at a place where I felt comfortable taking my two daughters. I found the place! Everything was great! The girls loved the toys the staff put into the pool! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the surrounding location was nice with many places to eat. The continental breakast was good, not a big selection, but just enough to get us going. This place seemed fairly new, or maybe just kept up very nicely. I would definately stay here again!

I have stayed in this hotel on 3 different occasions. I was in the Reserve, and during my ATs at Ft. Leonard Wood, my husband would occasionally drive up and spend the night.

There are a couple of nice major restaurant chains in the parking lot in front of the hotel. The pool is small, but it exists, and if you're looking for romance, the rooms with the two person whirlpool tub are great! For $20/30 more they're lovely!

The lobby is very pretty also. Much nicer than you would expect for a Day's Inn.

We always overslept the continental breakfast, no info there.
