This is a great hotel. Very nice and clean with extremely clean rooms and a fabulous staff. The only downside is they do not offer a continental breakfast for the budget minded but they do have a full restaurant in the hotel. It is very convenient off I-55 and many restaurants within a few miles. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in St. Louis

This is our favorite place to stay when we need a break. I have 3 children 4-14. We always stay in the holidome and the kids love being able to run back forth from the room to pool/arcades. The restaurant has good food. The staff is very nice. This is a great place to stay if you have kids or if you are a kid at heart.

I arrived very late at this hotel with a reservation. I was not able to check in as the hotel claimed that I have not paid for the room. I told them I paid through Travelocity. I waited around for over an hour while the front desk clerk called to find out the information. Travelocity said that they were going to resubmit the payment to them but I was not allowed to check in until the fax with the payment information came through. Finally after about 1.5 hours, I convinced the front desk clerk to let me go to my room. Needless to say I was very upset and exhausted after a long day of driving.

The hotel was also very picky to make sure they had my driver's license information, make & model of my car, and its license plate number written down. This is the first time that I have ever been asked for such information at a hotel. If I am asked to show an ID, it is only to verify my name. Not here.

The location was good for my stay although I wouldn't imagine many people would want to stay in south St. Louis. The room condition was very average. It was cleaned although not very well. Everything was very old and hadn't been updated in quite some time. It was a long walk to get to my hotel room. The hotel was built very wide instead of building up. The heating and air conditioning worked but was very loud. The curtains also did not block much enough of the light out for me to sleep well.

The breakfast was excellent although it was expensive. I would advise calling the hotel directly to verify your reservation before you show up. I had a 2-day hotel stay and wanted to leave after my poor experience the first night. I was told that I could leave but they would not refund my money. I lost a chunk of money because of this.

The city had just experience a power outage and so the halls and public areas were not very cool. The room had great AC and got icy cold! Ice machines, vending etc were sufficient.

Fantastic location to the interstate. Other reviews said 55 was noisy, but we had no problems with that. It was about a 15-20 minute drive to downtown, Galleria, Loop, Forest park were all about 15 as well. Gas station across from the hotel and pizza within a mile or 2. Waffle house near too.

The website says microwaves and mini-refrigerators in the guest rooms, but you have to request them.

Room was clean and the beds were not broken down and well maintained. Above average bedding for a Holiday Inn I would say.

The parking was good, no problems. You have to register your car when you arrive.

The restaurant was mediocre in quality, but convenient. Very friendly staff in the restaurant.

Front-desk staff weren't so nice, but probably just stressed as they were sold-out from people relocating from the storm.

Absolutely suitable for the rate I got as a travel agent, but if you're not wanting to drive at all, it might not be what you're after. Enjoy St. Louis!
