So many things to do other than just going up to the top of the arch. Set outside on December first for a long time and just had an amazing conversation.
My wife and I traveled to St. Louis the summer of 2010. We really enjoyed the Arch and all of its surroundings. Relaxing in the park during the evening and walking through the museum underground were very fun! The elevators to ride to the top of the arch were interesting and could be an issue for someone that doesn't enjoy small places...but the view from the top is amazing! Cannot wait to take our daughter when she gets older!
It's the most conspicuous structure in downtown St. Louis and it's worth exploring this side of the Mississippi River.
Beautiful park around the Arch. Lots of space to run and play. Benches to sit. Beautiful background for pictures. We saw a wedding party getting amazing pictures taken.
You can't visit the City of St. Louis and not visit the "arch". Take a ride to the top and enjoy the view. The elevators are tiny and the top of the arch is designed to sway with the wind. If heights are not your thing, then the top can be a little disturbing when it is windy.
