“Huge country oasis in the middle of the city...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2012

It is entirely possible to completely escape the busy trappings of the city and forget where you are in this park! This place is HUGE! Many friends/family from Small Town, America are surprised when I tell them I frequently take hikes & walks amoung the numerous trees & fields!

“a gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2012

We were driving thru the park an a Sat. a.m. and saw lots of people going into the Missouri History Museum. We thought we would check it out. They had 2 exhibits that there was a charge for. I think one was about the Civil War and the other was about Dinosaurs. We were short of time, so we decided to check out the Charles Lindbergh exhibit. It was awesome. If you like american history and/or aviation you will love this exhibit. The room takes you on year by year journey of the life of this hero. They have assembled an amazing amount of actual items that Lindbergh owned. It was well put together and you could tell that a lot of time and thought was put into this exhibit. Congrats to the staff for such a wonderful job..When we return to St.Louis i May we will make another visit to the museum.
