Room was Lovely and very comfortable. Wasn't told I needed to use my room key to use elevator and it took awhile to figure out why we weren't going anywhere. Instruction note on elevator would be nice.It is a nice safety feature thou.

This is a great location if you are visiting St. Louis and don't have a car. It is close to the Metro link, which runs from the airport. The Arch, Old Capital and baseball park are all within a very easy walk. The lady at the front desk that checked us in (Angel) did a great job. Our room was not ready, however, she took our mobile number and called us when the room was ready. She made arrangements to store our luggage and sent us on our way with good directions. The rooms are a nice size, clean and well decorated with flat screen TV, coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. Ask for a higher level room, and if you are lucky, you will get a room with a view of most of the Arch. After saying all those good things, I must register one major and one minor complaint. The minor issue was the bar tender. We got a drink one night (would have had more),and the guy acted like it was a tremendous chore to walk down to our end of the bar to take our order. Then he brings my wife a beer without a glass, and doesn't ask if she would like one. He does bring one after she asks. All the while, he is talking to another lady (maybe he was trying to set something up for later), ignoring us. He never comes back to check on us, never asks if we want another drink or anything else. Does not bring a bill, we just leave the money for the drinks and walk away. Needless to say, the rest of our drinking was done elsewhere.
The other issue is that in 2015, it is just expected that you stay connected to you social media, even when you travel. The WiFi service in the room was absolutely terrible. It would connect for a minute or two and then go out. Then repeat the same action. Oh, it worked fine the lobby, but in the room, forget about it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The Hilton on Olive St., as compared to the one across from Bush Stadium, is a very nice hotel. I was able to get a larger room but it had no view. The price was lower than the other Hilton and my only complaints were that they skipped cleaning my room one day and the new style wastebaskets now at Hiltons is terribly small. The bellmen were very helpful and provided great recommendations on places to eat. Mike was especially helpful. I would recommend the hotel.

Picked this hotel for a short 1 day visiting passing through St. Louis. Easy walk to tourist sites. Hilton Honors member. Upon arrival in the room, someone else's hair in the bathroom in a couple of places and the tv remote control and room phone were absolutely filthy.

Very clean and comfortable room. Our room overlooked the river. Great location -- walking distance to Arch, the Courthouse, and the Old Cathedral. Helpful staff. Parking was pricey. Overall, I enjoyed my stay!

I stayed here over Easter weekend for the US Women's National soccer game. I chose this hotel for a few reasons: the fact that I am a Hilton rewards member, the reviews, and the location (near Busch Stadium). I had mentioned in my reservation's additional comments section that I was in town to meet friends, watch the game, and a few other details about the weekend and my guest. Upon arrival, the amazing gentleman at the front desk greeted me by name, said he had upgraded our room for our stay for free, and had included a few other perks to ensure the stay was enjoyable. Definitely unexpected and much appreciated. The room was very spacious and extremely quiet. We had no issues with the hotel whatsoever. It was in a perfect location- just a few blocks from the Stadium, Ballpark Village, the Arch, etc. The bank vault/convenience store in the lobby is a great touch, and the entire lobby is beautiful. All in all, a great weekend!

This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel and both times I was very pleased. This time they were finished with their renovations and the hotel looked gorgeous. Our rooms are always clean, housekeeping does a great job at picking up and making sure we have everything we need. It is close to all the places we want to go downtown and parking is convenient. I don't have one bad thing to say about our stay!
