Touhill is a newer theatre on the campus of the University of Missouri St. Louis. It is a very well built theatre with comfortable seating which all has great views of the stage. The lobby area is vast and has plenty of space for pre show and intermission events.
Parking is plentiful and free. It’s on a college campus in a not-so-safe area (campus is safe) so there are no dining options anywhere nearby.
My big issue with Touhill is the fact that it is new, and in a suburban setting. St. Louis has so many historic theatres (Powell, Peabody/Kiel, Fox, Sheldon) that offer the ambiance and environment that I think is more suited for many of the classy performances. Touhill has that sterile and dry atmosphere that takes away from many shows.
