It really does not get any better than Tony's Restaurant in St. Louis. We went on a Friday. The black grouper special was fantastic and so was the lobster, according to my wife. From the martinis to the scallops to the entrées to the desert, all was on a par with the quality food you expect from such a gourmet restaurant. Bruce and Donnie were our servers. Bruce played the straight man, and Donnie was the comedian. It was a very enjoyable evening. Service is impeccable. Everyone seemed to be dressed appropriately even though I understand from reading other comments that Tony has relaxed the dress code somewhat. Tony came by our table to greet us, as he always does, and it is always a pleasure to have a conversation with him. He is very interesting. Don't miss the photographs of the rich and famous particularly the one of Paul Newman. We will return again soon for another superb meal.
