We were at the Omni for 4 nights during the MVC basketball tournament., This was a hotel taht one of the teams was staying at but you would never know it. Hotel was quiet, staff was very nice and professional. You can tell they take pride in working there. We had a king room in the corner. The room was decent sized. I actually expected a little smaller for a hotel built in the 1930s. Some little things - the shower had great water pressure, nice towels (not the small thin ones you get at a lot of hotels). We bought the breakfast and valet parking. All days but one was buffet. Now keep in mind this hotel has less than 100 rooms so don't expect a huge buffet but it has everything you could want and it's fresh. Scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, sausage, french toast, cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt and great fresh fruit as well as pastries. What more do you need?
The hotel is close to everything and if you need a ride, just ask, they will shuttle you within a 3 mile radius.
If i had to say a negative, and it's not a big deal to me but to others it might be, they do need new tvs in the room and a satellite dish or something for more channels. If you are there and have down time that you want to spend in your room it would be nice to have more channels.
We will definitely be back. Loved everything about it! Thank you to all the staff.
