I have stayed here twice. The first time was in the new side and it was nearly perfect. Nice rooms, nice beds and other ammenities. The only problem we had was the slow moving elevators. The second time we stayed, I booked online and we were put in the old side. old! The mattress sagged in the middle, there is no internet in the old side. The ac unit was very loud and the 19 inch tv was made before remotes. There was also no upgrades on internet bookings. The staff was nice though.

My sister and i booked two rooms for a weekend getaway with our husbands on Hotwire. We were very nervous because we had just read the reviews. But it would only be one night. We were very surprised. We were on the 26 floor of the North tower and it was gorgeous. The room was pretty big and clean. We had a decent view of Busch Stadium and walked down to the river. It was convient. The only bummer was the pool was supppose to be open till 11 and since it was a Sunday they closed at 10. But it was not a big deal. We loved our stay and will definitly like to stay there again, as it is nice and convinient. I would definitly suggest this hotel to others!

The price was amazing at $39 nightly. I was expecting the worst after reading other reviews about this hotel. However, I found that it was fine for me. For a holiday weekend it was quiet. I enjoyed the peace. The housekeeping and restaurant staff were pleasant and accomodating. I had to prepare presentations for delivery (May 31st, Tuesday) and the front desk was very helpful in facilitating my request for supplies because the business center was not open for the weekend. That weekend there was a lot to do in the city. If you didn't mind walking or taking the bus you could go to three festivals in the City. Whoever was traveling before just doesn't know how to roll with the punches. I would recommend this hotel.

I was nervous after reading some reviews on other sites, but our room and our experience was very nice. This is NOT a five star hotel, but I did not pay a five star price. Let me first say I had one of the dreaded south tower rooms. It is a longer walk from the garage, but no big deal. Bathrooms are small and dated, but quite clean and functional. If you have ever been to Europe, it will not be a problem. The rooms are smaller because they are angled, which is because they are in a round building. Still enough room for my family of four. The beds and the bedding were brand new and very comfortable. The location of this hotel makes up for any misgivings you may have. It is one block to Busch stadium and one block to the old cathedral which is at the edge of the Gateway Arch National Park. Contrary to other reports, check-in was fast and staff was outwardly helpful and courteous. Don't be afraid to give this property a chance.

We took advantage of a great deal we found on Travelzoo when we stayed at this hotel, so I am not sure how I would have felt if we had paid full price. When we checked in, we were initially given a room overlooking Busch stadium's blinding lights. This was resolved easily and without a hassle when we called the front desk and simply asked for another room. Within 5 minutes the bellman was there to escort us to a room on the arch side of the building. There, we were amazed at the un-obscured and perfectly "St. Louis" view of the arch. The room itself was quite nice, modern, and very clean. With the exception of the elusive concierge and one particular waiter in the Forth Street Grill, all of the employees of this hotel were extremely helpful and nice. If you are in town to see the sites, you can’t find a better place to stay. You can walk to the stadium, the Arch and Lacledes Landing, and you are less than a block from the expressway. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again when they offer specials.
