We had walked by Rosalita's earlier in the day on our way to City Museum. The patio looked very nice and we planned to return later for dinner. When we came back later, the hostess seemed reluctant to seat us on the patio, even though it seemed like there were plenty of tables. Our waiter rushed us and seemed like he wanted us gone quickly. There was no line of people waiting for a table, so I don't know what was going on that night, but it negatively effected the experience for us. We are not lingerers - we very rarely order dessert or after dinner coffee. So we were kind of taken aback by this. Our food was so-so. I ordered the Pollo Cancun - it was a shrimp/chicken dish and kind of bland. My husband had enchiladas and he said the same about his dish. My son had a chicken quesadilla and declined to eat more than a third of it. He said it just wasn't that good. Even the chips and salsa were flavorless. I would have given this restaurant an average rating, because it wasn't bad, just kind of bland. But the rush job from the waiter pushed it further down. I would not return.
