“Relaxing space downtown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

City Garden is a free area several blocks long. There are several sculptures, fountains and even a concession stand from an old fire truck. It is located within a few blocks from the Arch, Old Courthouse and Busch Stadium. A fun area to stroll, relax and cool down. Kids love splashing in the fountain areas. Plan to spend at about an hour exploring.

We did see a couple homeless people but they were not bothering anybody. Police presence downtown is strong. We felt comfortable.

“A great place for a stroll in Downtown”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

This little oasis is fantastic! A place to dine, stroll, sit and watch. It's a break from the city noise and an inspirational place full of art, laughing and beauty. A must stop for any traveler!

“Great fun for free”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

This is a multi-block long free park right in downtown. It has some great water features for the kids including fountains and wading pools. Best for younger kids but even preteens would have fun.

There is also some interesting sculptures and is a popular spot for senior portraits and even a few engagement or wedding pictures.

Lots of street parking around the area, but remember the meters need to be fed even on Saturday's.
