Our daughter found this gem in St. Louis. It is in the SLU area, and was at one time a SLU fraternity house. It's an old brick home built in the 1800's. There are three guest rooms, each very large with high ceilings, king beds, flat screen TV's and private baths with jacuzzi tubs. We had the Fox room which also had a fireplace. What we really enjoyed about the Guest House were the communal rooms which include a kitchen, dining room and parlor. Since we were there with our daughter and son-in-law and two grandchildren we really appreciated having the space to spend time together. There are board games in the parlor which we played when it was pouring rain one day. The other amazing thing is the room rates: on week nights they are $79 and on weekends I think it is $119.
We will definitely return when we visit St. Louis again.
