Spectacular display of flora specially in the spring and summer. The feature that I love the most is the Children's Garden where families with small children can explore and play.
Loved all the flowers. Wish we would of had more time. The rose garden was lovely. JUst beautiful. Cant wait to return.
Always great Winter programs... now, the Orchids. Also, great light fare in the cafe'. No reservations, just grab a good friend and go. Excellent parking. Beautiful grounds.

Went and saw what i believe they call the Winterland Express. This is when they have numerous trains set up among different scenes showing decorations for Christmas and a number of rustic views. The Missouri Botanical Garden to me can be considered " The Garden of All Seasons." I recommend to become members because after a few visits you will surely see a value for being a member. Check out the various plant sales as well as bulbs from the many organizations which share their passion for planting.
This is one of the most amazing attractions that St Louis has to offer. You don't have to be a botany major to appreciate the wide diversification that MoBot has for you. Just walking through the gardens will allow you to enjoy the beauty, no matter what time of year.
And the geodesic dome Climatron, with its four microclimates inside, will amaze anyone. Where else can you see live orchids growing in St Louis?
And it's very reasonably priced.
