Owner description: Don’t take the name so literally. We're about fun. Not your white walls, walk around, and be quiet museum. If you want to climb around, get active with your kids or are a big kid at heart, we're the place. If you get freaked out easily, you might not want to come. We’re four floors filled with miles of tunnels, a full cave system, over 30 slides, a circus, an arts area, a large outdoor climbing space, Architectural Museum, a Cabin that serves adult beverages, a Museum of Mayhem, Mirth and Mystery, and a ton more. Also, there’s the roof with a Ferris Wheel and a bus hanging off its edge. Finally, just so you’re aware, The World Aquarium is not part of City Museum, but a non-profit located within us. There is an additional charge to go in their space.

“unreal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

it took at least one creative genius to think out this place, and a great crew to build it. my son and his friend (16 year olds) loved it, and so did i. a jump into an imaginary world with fabulous sensory experiences all around you. i will return as the place is way to big for just one visit.

“Amazing for everyone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013 via mobile

The city museum is great. We have to kids under 2 and both of them loved it. There is a plave for toddlers so they dont have to worry about bigger kids. The sights are just amazing. We will be going back when our kids get bigger.

“Amazing playland for all ages!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

This place is amazing and hard to describe. I wish we had one in my city! Outside, there's a plane and a bus hanging off the building with walkways to explore. Inside, there are ladders, slides, rope swings, juggling shows, a cave, snack bars and much more that I never even got to see. But our favorite part was the toddler area- an enclosed space with slides, a ball pit, and floor areas with foam blocks and lots of trucks. It was very easy to park the toddler there and take tuns watching him with the rest of family went off and explored. You could easily spend an entire day here, and it's well worth the entry fee.

“Fun for three generations!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

After a wonderful Christmas celebration, We took four of our grandchildren here for a real treat!
Not only were they excited and challenged by the unique opportunities to explore, their parents joined in much of the fun with wide eyed wonder themselves!! I laughed, took pictures, roasted marshmallows in the fire, and was delighted just watching so many people of different cultures, joining in so much fun! The cave section can easily be accessed walking, and I could view the huge 10 story slide. What creative genius is on display in this place! Good Value at $12.00, and price drops to $10.00 after 5pm.

“multigenerational fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

it was an absolutely fun time for us and all our children and grandchildren. Ages 3-65 enjoyed being there and if you couldn't do the climbing you could enjoy everyone else. The 3 story and 10 story slides were great. We were there on a Sunday and saw the circus. Enjoyed that and is a good cause too. Highly recommend for anyone who is or has active kids. They will love it. We did and plan on going back when it is warmer. Also the food on the 4th floor cafe was good too.
