“Disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

This beautiful structure is only a shell of itself. 90% of the stores have closed or moved somewhere else. There are a lot of people loitering in the station and in the area. It is dirty and smelly. It is not worth the time going - you won't miss a thing. It was a total waste of our time.

The Hard Rock Cafe is next to it so we ate there - the only thing worth the time during our visit there.

Big thumbs down!

“Go Here for the History”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

Go here for the history of the train station, not for the shopping experience. The grandeur of the old place is what's beautiful. If you are a history buff and like to learn what it must have been like in it's heyday, it's a cool place.

“I was expecting more, but it didn't deliver.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

Union Station would appear to have so much potential, but half of it is closed off and the half that is open is a giant food court of fast foods and t-shirt shops. It was empty on a Sunday afternoon. The Landry's and Hard Rock Cafe on the outside looked busy. But Union Station was sad for some much potential and it just didn't deliver.

“Not worth any time!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

There are so many amazing things in St. Louis and Union Station isn't one of them. You can't see much and almost 75% of the malls stores are closed/vacant. Parking isn't cheap either considering that there isn't much there!

“Worth checking out, nut nothing great.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

Basically inside is a typical mall with typical mall stores. It is very nice view outside though with a Hard Rock Cafe and Sea Food restaurant (went to Hard Rock but wished we went to sea food place instead). Parking was $4 for over an hour and more if you stay longer. If it seems like something that interests you it is worth checking out once.
