It is an impressive structure. I think it is very pretty looking at it, and looking out from it! The views are great but the ride up is cramped and the observation area is pretty cramped too. It is worth it though, as long as you are not afraid of heights (you can feel the arch swaying a bit when you are at the top)!
Pros: beautiful views, great experience, very futuristic, the arch moves a little with the windy (can be dramatic in a windy day ;)), nice magnets in the store
Cons: staff in the arch area weren't very nice or helpful (girls were chatting about their lives)
It's a little pricey but worth every penny. It was a great experience. I saw great views, felt the arch moving (!!!!), loved the futuristic elevator (check my pics) and enjoyed the doc about Lewis and Clark.
The museum is also nice.
A great visit included is the Historical Old Courthouse. Not included is a video on how the Arch was built, which is mostly free in places like this.
The sheer fact that the arch was designed and constructed back in the 60s makes it even more spectacular. Do take the elevator to the top of the arch. Worth every penny.
Went here on the 4th it was crazy, with all the people, this is a GREAT thing the Arch EVERYBODY should see it once and go up in it at least on time!!!!
