“First Time going up the Arch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2011

Wife and 3 kids 3, 5 and 7 took the trip up the arch. Kids had a good time riding up in the tram and looking out over the city and Mississippi. Bit crowded up at the top, but overall a very enjoyable time. Also took a tour of the museum downstairs where they had some storytellers and musicians performing kids songs and stories about the 1800's. It was interesting and the kids enjoyed it.

“Great view of the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2011

I love the arch. I can't count the number of times that I have visited but it never gets old. The museum is ok but I love going up in the arch. It is a great view of the city and the baseball stadium. The land around the arch is beautiful. Don't go to St. Louis and miss this. It's free to look around outside and take pictures, but it's worth going up to the top!

“Awesome, must see if in St Louis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2011

My husband and I visited the Arch on a Thursday in April. He had been there before so he knew that the key is getting there early. We got there around 9:45 and the Tram going to the top was for 10:30. By the time we looked around for a bit, went to the bathroom (essential, because there are no bathrooms at the top), and got in line it was time to go up. Great time at the top, took lots of pictures, must have a camera that does not require flash,
When we came back down , we saw the movie on how the arch was made. Makes you really appreciate the arch that much more. The small museum is interesting to go thru.. and park rangers are available to answer questions.
We also went on the boatride. It was informative and relaxing. Take your time to enjoy. We did not walk to the courthouse but if we go again, I want to take a tour of that also.

“Exciting for kids..We loved it!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2011

We loved it! The view was great. After you rode to the top, you could immediately get back in line to go back down after looking out, or you could take your time and look out for as long as you wanted. It is a tad pricey, but well worth the money, just for the experience. It takes a bit of time to get through the security check point at the door, but also worth it for the safety. There is an awesome "Museum" downstairs that is enjoyable for both kids and adults.
