For over 90 years now, the Muny in Saint Louis, Missouri puts on excellent musicals that are typically well-known. The cast is typically made up of lesser known stars, but occasionally a nationally known star will headline the show. This was the case in this week's performance of Monty Python's Spamalot. John O'Hurley played King Arthur and Bob Costas provided the voice of God. Tickets are always affordable with a selection of free seats being available for every performance. The surrounding area (St. Louis' Forest Park) is beautiful as well and provides a great setting for the theater. The shows later in the summer can be sometimes uncomfortable due to the heat and humidity...but still worth going to if you can.
