“Great Lunch Specials”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2011

We enjoyed our stop here for a weekday lunch very much. There were several daily specials to choose from and prices were so reasonable--$7-8 for entree with side, veggie, salad or soup and rolls! Unfortunately I can't review their steaks, but our catfish, brisket, and cheeseburger were excellent. Desserts were homemade and delicious as well. The staff were friendly and responsive. We'll definitely visit here again!

“Not a high class place - but the prime rib is pretty good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2010

Well a pretty mixed review. The decor was aweful. This is not a high class place. The green plastic table cloths about say it all. It was small, crowded and smokey. this is a local hangout not a great place for an out of towner looking for great food.

The food: The prime rib was very good but not the best I have ever had. The twice baked potato was pretty good too. My husband ordered BBQ pork ribs and they came out cold with an obvious dollop of BBQ sauce squirted on top. When he sent them back they were clearly the same ribs that had now been microwaved and were aweful.

Service: The waitress was nice but way overworked and I am pretty sure bringing back the same food is against health code.

If you go order the prime rib and don't risk the other items.

“best in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2010

This is one of the best places my husband and I have ever been to. I ate the famous prime rib with the twiced baked potatoe and spinach salad. The prime rib was juicy, with very little fat and seasoned to perfection. The twice baked potatoe was different than many I have had from other restaurants and I must say it was the best. The spinach salad had a homemade dressing with bean sprouts, mushrooms, egg, bacon, and hand cut croutons topped on it. The whole dinner was fabulous but I believe the friendly, knowledgable staff topped off our evening.

“Worth the wait!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2010

It is nice to enter a local restaurant, not a chain, and be delighted with the meal. The Fredrick Inn was packed, and you had to wait. The hotess was cordial, and greeted you with a genuine smile. The staff was prepared to give advice about the extensive menu and specials. Steaks were the featured choices. However, there were plenty of other options. There was plenty of parking around, so don't drive by, stop and enjoy a successful local establishment.
