We visited St Charles in June for the Christian Home Educators conference. The Hotel hosted the event. We opted to spend a little more for the convenience and large rooms. I'm glad I didn't let my frugal nature get the best of me. When you figure in the complementary breakfast and 2 room suite for the price of one it was well worth the additional cost. The restaurant services in the Hotel make it easy to catch a quick snack or dinner. The conference was fantastic with plenty of room in common areas and conference rooms to accommodate foot traffic. A Helpful guest services kiosk was located strategically to help with questions. We have 2 teens and a toddler so the large suite sized rooms were truly a blessing. We could put the toddler down for a nap in one room, close the door and the rest of us could have the other room for whatever. The fridge and kitchenette area were great for lunch. Since we couldn't afford to eat out for every meal, we brought a small cooler with lunch food and snacks. Our children used the salt water pool and enjoyed the late night pool hours. The hotel staff was friendly and seemed to be constantly cleaning which explains why the hotel still looks brand new after 5+ years. This Hotel will be at the top of our list whenever we visit the area. Truly a delightful experience!
