We have visited twice recently. This restaurant is in the historic Main Street area of St. Charles, in an old house, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. There are some stairs and several doorways to get into the different rooms. The first time we visited was a weeknight and it was well after 8 pm when we arrived, so I was a little concerned, but all went well. A large family group arrived after us, and a large "girls nite out" group, so they got very busy shortly after we arrived. This is not a real big place, but service was still good. Spouse had a strip steak and I had a French dip sandwich. Both were very good. My side was homemade chips, which I would not recommend - over-cooked and bland. But everything else was good. Next trip we ate outside on the patio, which is much larger than it appears from the street. Great atmosphere. Again, food was good. I would also have to recommend the desserts - yummy!
