“Stayed in the 'dormitory' while riding the Katy Traul”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

Perfect for cyclists -- well-stocked fridge (handy when most of Rocheport is closed on a Monday night), even has laundry facilities (which we didn't use). The breakfast left for us in the fridge was ample and while some might prefer a hot B&B breakfast, this was great for letting us set our own timetable.

Most charming and a great place to unwind. Private, quiet, quaint, quaint & more quaint! Breakfast was oh-so-good! Perfect time of year too... We will stay here again and ride the Katy Trail next time...
Pack a picnic for a nice lunch & a bottle of wine overlooking the Missouri River up the hill at 'The A Frame' @ Les Bourgeois.

I am not a fan of B&B's but we decided to give School House a try...I'm so glad we did! It was GREAT! Everything about it was very, very nice. We stayed in the Show and Tell room - it was fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful both mornings and the town of Rocheport was so neat! We loved it!

Room Tip: Show and Tell Room is very nice!

This is the second time we have stayed at this B&B and we love it. The breakfast is amazing, the hosts are great and the rooms were clean. It is definitely the best place to stay.

I especially enjoy the warm cookies when you arrive. And, that they are willing to help out in any way possible. They have extra towels out, soda in a fridge and are just the best hosts.

Every thing about the School House B & B was great. The room, the owners, the food. Very private accommodations with our own bathroom and TV. They had refreshments for us when we checked in and went over everything we needed to know. Had coffee outside in the quiet neighborhood in the morning.

Checked out the antique shops in town (within walking distance) and walked the Katy trail. Loved the tunnel on the west side of town. Ate at the Winery A frame. Good food, great view.

Not much else to do but had a nice relaxing time while we were there.

We stayed at the School House Bed and Breakfast Inn after spending the day at Les Bourgeois Winery. Our stay was wonderful! The Inn is very well taken care of, our room was nice, clean & comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful even though nearly all rooms were booked.

My wife had several dietary restrictions, which they accommodated at breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was great! We look forward to our next stay!

A wonderful B&B, clean, bright, cozy, something interesting to look at everywhere you turn. Great ouside patios to sit and read and/or enjoy a class of wine. Mike and Liza will treat you like family. Oh, and the breakfasts are creative, fresh, and really yummy!
